About
IGFLOW-TRIO
IGFLOW-TRIO is a combination inhalation medication used for the treatment and management of chronic respiratory conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It combines three active ingredients for improved control of symptoms:
1. Budesonide: An inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that reduces inflammation in the airways.
2. Formoterol: A long-acting beta-agonist (LABA) that helps relax airway muscles, improving airflow.
3. Glycopyrrolate: A long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) that prevents airway constriction by blocking muscarinic receptors, providing long-lasting bronchodilation.
Key Information:
Indications: Maintenance therapy for asthma and COPD. Prevents symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing, and coughing. Reduces the frequency and severity of exacerbations.
Usage: Use the inhaler as prescribed by your doctor, typically twice daily. Follow the correct inhalation technique for effective medication delivery. Not meant for acute relief during sudden breathing difficulties (use a short-acting bronchodilator like salbutamol for emergencies).
Common Side Effects: Throat irritation, dry mouth, or hoarseness. Oral fungal infections (e.g., thrush) – rinse your mouth after use to reduce this risk. Headache or dizziness. Nausea, muscle cramps, or mild tremors.
Precautions: Inform your doctor about pre-existing conditions like heart disease, glaucoma, or urinary
Consult your healthcare provider for proper guidance on the use of IGFLOW-TRIO.
